The short version
This website does not set cookies, run analytics, or track you. The only information we collect is what you type into a form and the ordinary server logs that any website host keeps. We use that information to answer you. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for anything unrelated to your request.
Who we are
This policy covers the website automedon-tech.com and the pages under it (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Automedon Technologies LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("Automedon", "we", "us"). Products that have their own privacy policies, such as the Tripwire app, say so on their own pages.
What we collect and why
Information you send us. The Request Access and assessment forms ask for your name, organization, email address, an optional use case, and a free-text message. We use it to evaluate your request, reply to you, and, where a request concerns controlled capabilities, to carry out the export control and sanctions screening described in our Terms of Use. Legal basis where one is required: our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, and your consent when you submit the form.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and time of each request in order to run and protect the Site. These logs are kept for a short period by the provider for security and troubleshooting and are not used to identify visitors.
Nothing else. The Site does not use cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising identifiers, or session recording. Fonts are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not contact a font service.
Video
Demonstration videos are hosted on YouTube. They do not load until you press play. When you press play, YouTube (Google LLC) receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed, which limits tracking before playback.
Who receives your information
We share form submissions only with the service providers we need to run the Site:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) relays form submissions to our mailbox and does not use the content for its own purposes.
- Vercel Inc. hosts the Site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive.
We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not disclose it to anyone else except when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to the request, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a business relationship follows or the law requires longer retention. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for its standard short retention period.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to privacy@automedon-tech.com. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out where one would apply. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization.
Virginia and other U.S. state residents. You have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability, and the right to appeal a decision we make about your request by writing to the same address with "Appeal" in the subject line.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. The Site is directed at organizations in the United States. If you contact us from those regions, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Your information is processed in the United States.
Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS with strict transport security, sends a content security policy that limits which services a page may contact, and stores no visitor data itself. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Track
Because the Site does not track visitors, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to change. We honor Global Privacy Control where a state law gives it effect.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top of the page.
